You have a particular developmental goal in mind and you are willing to put in and be accountable to extra work to shift your habits and build new capabilities in between sessions. You prefer a more formal structure to reach your goals.
Coaching programs always begin with Program Design.
We have two 90-minute conversations, one-to-two weeks apart.
The first session is a 90-minute inquiry session exploring you and your coaching topic in the context of a safe and confidential space. We will engage in a rich conversation in which I listen without judgment and you can share what is real for you. Together we will shape and refine your topic so that you leave our first session with more clarity and insight regarding where you are right now and where you would like to be by the end of our program.
After the first session, I will spend at least 3 hours behind the scenes designing your program. I use a holistic method to inform my work. I look at you and your topic through multiple frameworks to get very specific about possible blind spots and possible opportunities for development that we will explore together. I will spend significant time preparing for our second conversation in which I will help you get many new perspectives on how you uniquely show up in the world, what is working for you, and what specifically is holding you back, and offer a nuanced picture of what you can grow toward.
In the second 90-minute session I will present to you a proposal for your coaching program. Together we will fine tune the proposal into something that speaks to your heart and truly motivates you.
You will leave with a plan for how we will work together to help you reach your developmental goals. You will receive a topic, 3 developmental objectives, 2 metaphors (one pointing to your current approach to your topic and the other illuminating a new possibility in your approach to your topic) and 2 practices that we have designed together.
Once program design is complete, we transition to Premium Coaching Conversations
We meet every two-to-three weeks. This allows you time in between sessions to engage in your practices and come to the next session with a deeper understanding of you and your situation. Each session lasts 75 min.
Each session is in service of you developing in your topic. As we explore you in your world, we consistently link what we are learning to your developmental objectives and metaphors. I ask you revealing questions and we speak to the patterns we see. We co-create a practice(s) that you will experiment with in between sessions to develop new capacities. Each practice is custom made for you taking into consideration where you are in the program, your schedule, and the demands of your life.
I give you an unbiased outside perspective where I gently challenge you to see what’s not being seen, uncovering hidden beliefs, assumptions and behaviors. I support you to move beyond self-doubt and fear. I hold you accountable to aid you in staying on track by drawing you back each session to the direction that’s been set in the program design.
You leave each call with valuable new insights, able to see possibilities previously held outside of your awareness. Within 24 hours after our session, I will write up detailed instructions for you on what to notice as you engage in your practice(s) along with journal prompts to help you gain insights faster.
Our final call is a Completion Conversation
We anchor key insights from your journey and celebrate your wins.
We explore how to set yourself up for continued growth in your topic beyond the end of this program. In our final conversation, we will review and anchor your development and discuss how you can keep up your momentum moving forward.
